Bila dua hati dah terjalin....

Right after nikah, Mr R & I went our separate ways back to our homes to change into our sanding outfit.

Kak Yani from Yani Mariposa Bridal dah standby outside my house uolls. Apparently my Avicenna photog guys (and a girl) also followed me home. Since R & I were not comfortable with them filming me while I'm changing or making up, I made them sit at my living room & eat some leftover curry puffs & nasi lemak from earlier's brekkie.

I also made sure my Maids-of-honour & mak andam ate the nasi lemak with me! Hahaha! PUAS HATI BETA DAPAT MAKAN TANPA RASA NERVOUS LAGI!

I used Kak Nazlin Hilal's makeup because I wanted Kak Yani to just touch up from her base, but Kak Yani went a level up to retouch up me face -.-. Tapi aku particular about not tweezing my brows, no deep socket eye makeup, etc. very bridezilla but asal aku bahagia pls.

Tudung also I made sure covered my chest. Can I say R & I friggin loveeeee our blue songket?! And we got rave reviews from everyone too!

Left house quite late, supposed to be out by 1.30pm but we only did at 140 i think.

There was no plan about me making a grand entrance initially. I actually wanted to go in from the back but my mak andam said just masuk depan. People already know you're coming what. Then came the plan to ask all bridesmaids join me at the back as i walk in. Awwwwwww moment!!

I stepped in with 3 girls holding my train & veil, and the rest behind me, & DJ annuar played 'sedetik lebih' and I was sooooo embarassed (its embarassing to be a bride with eyes all on u!) but everyone inside was clapping as I walked in slowly, slowly, & I sort of gained confidence to look around me - seeing happy faces, familiar faces, my families all smiling at me. It was such a beautiful feeling!!!!

Tbh, I was still jittery as I salam-ed him. I was jittery the WHOLE DAY LA SIA! even holding his hands I can feel mine shaking lolol!

So hot pls!!! The aircon rosak then the baju tebal & my poor bridesmaids had to take turns to kipas me & R!

Makan bersuap. This R ah, he whispered to me as I was eating, "Jangan makan kasi habis! Pengantin takleh makan kasi abis!" I was like WTH?! Ok i guess to not show that we are gelojoh? Hahahah

Cake cutting time!! Aku quite disturbed eh dgn cakenye mcm hutan belantara tapi ni ikhsan dari my venue to give us the cake so whatever lah.

So nice seh the cake!!

Ni dah nak abis majlis after cake cutting so took casual pix with my nieces n nephews.

They had secretly collected all rose petals left on the cake table & tabur on us! Kureng!

Avicenna shot it best! They posted on their IG :)) love the team!!! So sporting & funny yet professional abis!

Next up, 2nd day of majlis(groom's side).

From this moment, life has begun

R & I became husband & wife dengan sekali lafaz on 13 Sept 2014 at Masjid Al-Taqua.

I was honestly not nervous at all up to the morning of the nikah at 5am!! I guess it's cos I know I've made the right decision in marrying R. So there was nothing to be scared of kan. The jitters went away but came back just before the akad. 

Kak Nazlin from Doll Me Up Cosmetics came at about 730am to doll me up (haha!) Sweet-natured, gentle & kind, really suits her sweet face!

And of course, i'm still me.

In the car on our way with my MOH, Eza & Mak on my left. We were late! But so was the groom's side. Lol!

Kadi Ma'arof came up to me & asked, "Awak setuju tak...?"

Me: SAYE SETUJU!

Kadi: Eh nantilah saya belum abis. Hahaha! Tak sabar nak kahwin eh.

I saw R like tense only. I was holding on to Eza's hands dearly. But alhamdulillah sekali lafaz only this boy. Hehe! After that I cried lor. Controlling-tears kinda cry takut bulu mata palsu tercabut wakaka.

Then R came to make me salam him. Hahah! Wahpiang I is telling uollz, this part I damn nervous please! I've never held any man's hands that I have had feelings for hahah because I try to comply to the syariah :p 

I was quite hesitant!! We had to do another round to salam. 

Whispered to R: Nervousnye! Ya Allah!! 

R: relax lah takde pape lah!

Sarung cincin also I nervous!

My beloved parents. Kesian Abah sakit kaki so he cant really cross his legs.

His family. His mum was particularly emotional cos her first-born is finally married. 

My maids-of-honours yang very very efficient & hardworking. Kudos to you guys! I love you so very much, Lovegrass & Kesayangan. :')))))

Mr Dato' & Mrs Datin. Now more in love than ever.

Bridesmaids emergency kit

For my babygirls:

Tissue if you guys cry at my nikah. Also if i cry. Also to wipe off sweat. Kesian nanti kepanasan.

Wet tissue untuk lap tangan lepas makan nasi minyak. 

Tic tac for when u need sugar rush during the day.

Mask to wear the night before so you will look refreshed.

Corsage! Wajib wear ok on the day itself!

Leave woes

Was telling my friend, Hana that I will only start my leave on Thur for my wedding week (next week wth?!) and she said might not be enough. She didn't look properly rested for her wedding even though she took i think Wednesday off onwards.

So this Bridegila freaked out & asked the fiancé.

To which he replied, kalau tak cukup leave ambil MC! Hahaha! Why you teaching me bad things u!
